COMPANY OVERVIEW

Created over 40 years ago, as the spinoff of the market leader in military RF systems, Technosystem has since been designing and manufacturing amplifiers for radio broadcasting, scientific and military applications world wide. Its products have satisfied more than 400 customers, spread over 45 countries.
Some of our distinguished clients include the Italian Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN), the Russian Institute of Applied Physics, Radio Televisione Italiana (RAI), Jordan Air Forces, the Italian Army, several UN Agencies, Radio Television Malaysia (RTM), Telekomunikacja Polska S.A (TPSA), Second Authority of Radion&TV (Israel), primary state-owned companies in the People’s Republic of China and many more.

Technosystem has made a number of landmark accomplishments in its long life.

  • The installation of the first solid state amplifiers at the INFN in the late '80s
  • One of the first jamming system for a Northern European Air Force in the early '90s
  • The first digital TV transmitters as early as 1997 in Rome, Melbourne and Shanghai
  • Double distinction of installing its transmitters in the Ostankino Tower, Moscow and the Menara Tower, Kuala Lumpur, two of the world's tallest towers.
  • In 1998, Technosystem also became the first Italian company to supply transmitters with the innovative LD-MOS technology
  • In the same year, Technosystem installed the first, then Guinness-record 100 KW solid state TV transmitter in Manila, Philippines
  • In 1999 Technosystem builds the first liquid-cooled 20kW UHF amplifier for the scientific industry
  • In 2004 it delivers the first 2.5kW@ 2.5GHz amplifier for Alcatel Lucent’s DVB-SH standard
  • In 2014 the first airborne, drone-mounted x-band radar head-end for an EU-backed project
  • In 2015/2016 it designs a mission-critical signal hybrid repeater (Optic fiber plus RF) on a strategic NATO base
  • In 2020, togheter with an other Italian manufacturer, Techosystem is selected for the first trial of a Ion source for a particle accelerator in the medical field
  • In 2022 the first airborne radar missile homing enhancer ( “MagnifiQ” ) is designed for a NATO military force
Technosystem, directly and via its shareholders, has a highly qualified design capability, and directly controls all the manufacturing phases of its products. Thanks to its partners and the vast network of suppliers and sub suppliers, it has an abundant productive capacity. Quality control, assembly, final testing, and after-sales support activities are performed in house.
